What is cheaper: taking a bath of taking a shower?

I was just wondering, coz when you take a bath you fill it up once and that's it, while a shower is water falling continuously. Although, there could also be the fact that if you take a LONG shower it would be better to take a bath. So how long would I have to shower in order for a bath to become cheaper?

A shower longer than 20 minutes would probably be more expensive than a bath. With showers, not as much water comes out of the faucet at one time, like a bath. So we are ';costed'; for the water in USA.

As you've already figured out, short effective showers costs less.





How much water your shower spends depends on the shower head so it's hard to tell just like this. But, if you have the shower and bathtub at the same place you can take a normal shower with the plug in the tub and see how much of the tub the shower fills. I have arthritis and used to take long hot showers to deal with the pain and I found that it's better to take a long hot bath instead.
a bath is cheaper. for the shear fact that you are not constantly being rained on by 4 gallons of water a second. a bath however, is more water efficient, for the fact you are only using a little bit of water comparatively to 4 gallons a second.
Easy answer assuming you have, or have access to a shower bath combo. Next time you take a shower, plug the tub. Time how long it takes the tub to fill up. Subract 1 second and the shower is cheaper.
i think that taking a bath would probably be cheaper...but baths are just kinda like sitting in a puddle of dirty water, and when you get up, it sticks to you again, so you didnt really clean youself

A shower is better unless you take a REALLY long shower. Probably anything under like 20 or 30 minutes and a shower is better
shower uses less water and resulting less gas to heat new water in water heater
