Maybe because it's clean. After I wash my hair its lighter until it gets dirty again. I have dirty blonde hair and it only looks slightly lighter, not drastic like yours. It also could be the lighting, my hairs true color comes out in the right light.

Why does my hair look lighter after im in water? pool shower, bath etc.?
