Does your dog(s) go hyper after a bath/shower/wash?

Like Jumping around wagging his/her tail and licking themselves madly and rolling on the floor making play-growling noises ?Does your dog(s) go hyper after a bath/shower/wash?
Sounds like my jack russell-LOL. Yeah sometimes. But my dog runs around like his head was cut off too, he does everything your dog does. He even tells us when he wants a bath (by jumping into the tub) and even takes showers with me ( invasion of privacy)Does your dog(s) go hyper after a bath/shower/wash?
Funny you mention that as I have just given my dog her bath and she always goes mental.

If they are rubbing their heads a lot it means they have water in their ears. Try everything you can to stop water getting in their ears as it can cause problems but the rolling and going nuts is normal.
Haha yes.

My dog is fairly calm when taking a bath and has those puppy dog eyes so he can get out. I guess dogs hate taking baths so much that when they get out their overjoyed. My dog usually runs around wagging his tail and dries himself on the carpet rolling around madly. Its funny to watch, although he does get the walls wet. =]
Yup! I have to kind of corral my doberman because he will get down on one shoulder and push his face across the carpet. He has been so exuberant in doing this that he has caused himself bloody carpet burns around his mouth. Now I contain him to the upstairs and throw down some soft blankets for him to waller in as he makes his galloping laps from room to room.
Your question immediately remind me of my dog.

Yes - almost always they get very excited after a bath. They also know they get to play with you after a bath. But then they also like to dirty themselves again outside almost immediately.

I start to understand my dog from here: http://www.DogExpertReveal.com

and the many interesting Dog Articles on the website.

Oh Yeah! My dog leaps down the stairs knocking everything over in its path runs around and around in circles with its left ear to the round rug in the living room, then alternates the other way with his right ear to the rug then rolls all over the place, loves the hairdryer and acually fetches it nowadays which is comical to watch, and people say staffs are to hard to train, we think not...
Ha ha ha ha ha. ummm Yep. I have 3 full grown danes, I have to tell the kids to stand with their backs against the house wall to save them getting knocked over. My dogs are CrAzY. Running, diving in grass, back flips. Absolutley NUTS...
YES! Like a little naked 2 yr old boy runnin thru the house after a bath, all 4 of our dogs run thru the house with the 'zoomies' after a bath.
Yes, mine does too. He's very good and patient whilst I'm bathing him and he likes the hairdryer, but dashes round like mad when we've finished. I never realised so many dogs do this!
Oh yes, they go nuts - and then quite often, despite being towelled dry, will curl up and shiver a bit so I bundle them up in a blanket, but that passes!!
Oh yes, my dogs go ballistic!

And then they lay in front of the fireplace and get all toasty and warm.
my dog used to run around loads when you try and wash her, i guess if you hadn't had a bath for along time you would be really hyper too!
lol yes they are trying to get their scent back on them.My pug goes crazy it is funny...I have to normally put her up for about 10 minutes until she calms down
Yes he does! He races around like a maniac and rubs himself into the carpet.
Absolutely! My dog loves water. Even tries to get in the shower with me.
Yeah mine does laps round the house jumping on %26amp; off things! Its the only time he does it!!
yeah lol its soo funny 2 watch, mine rubs her back on my fridge as well lmao. a dog thing ha
Oh yeah. He has to get the bath cooties off.
Yeah because they think there having fun.
Don't you feel better after a nice hot shower?
before during and after, she turns in a nut case bless her.
Yes... We tend to call this period ';speed drying'; at our house, lol.
i think it ok
No , ha ha , my dog just runs into her basket and looks upset with me bless her. But she goes Crazy whenever else :P
