i notice when i take a shower, or when i fill my bathtub up through the showerhead, the bathroom gets super steamy pretty quickly. whereas when i fill up the bathtub with water of the same temperature, the mirror barely fogs up if at all. why?Why does bathroom get steamy with a shower but not with bath?
In a nut shell when the water is dispersed from the showerhead it is coming out as a vapor vs a flow of hot water into a bath tub. This vapor spray creates humidity which is the steam. Similar effect happens in a bath tub if it was a hot tub with air pumping through it. It creates bubbles and then that hot bubbled water vaporizes into the air.

A constant flow of hot temperatured water, it's unsettled because it is constantly hitting with force. Compared to a bath? The bath is generally a still calm water, and it is not continuously hot, therefore condensation will not produce as much.
